SsangYong Motor is a South Korean based automobile manufacturer. SsangYong, literally translated, means "Double Dragon". Founded in 1954, SsangYong Motor Company, originally joining the Daewoo Group in 1998, now controlled by the Chinese automobile manufacturer SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation).
